Abstract
The problem that is often experienced by patients with hemodialysis therapy is non-compliance with fluid restriction, so Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG) often occurs due to excess fluid volume during the dialysis period which can result affect organ function. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between compliance fluid restricted with interdialytic weight gain in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. Using a correlation analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. From 164 patients, 82 respondents were obtained as samples with consecutive sampling technique. From on the results of the Spearman Rho statistical test, the p-value is 0.000 with an α value: <0.05 which shows the relationship between compliance fluid restricted with interdialytic weight gain in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. The level of value produced by the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.637 shows the closeness of strong results. So that the more compliant the patient is in compliance fluid restricted, it is hoped that the Interdialytic Weight Gain that occurs will be lighten. But on the contrary, if the patient is less compliant in fluid restricted compliance, Interdialytic Weight Gain that can occur in the moderate or severe category.
