All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Health Science and Nursing Research Journal (HSNRJ) online submission system.

Authors should register for an account or log in to their existing account before initiating a submission.

Before Submission

Authors should ensure that:

  • the manuscript falls within the aims and scope of HSNRJ;
  • the manuscript follows the current Author Guidelines and Manuscript Template;
  • all authors have approved the manuscript and its submission;
  • author names, affiliations, and contact information are accurate;
  • the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal;
  • applicable ethical approval and informed consent requirements have been fulfilled;
  • funding and conflicts of interest have been disclosed;
  • references have been checked for accuracy;
  • required reporting guidelines have been followed; and
  • all required files and supplementary materials are ready for upload.

Submission Metadata

Authors must enter accurate metadata into the submission system, including:

  • manuscript title;
  • abstract;
  • keywords;
  • full names of all authors;
  • institutional affiliations;
  • country/region;
  • corresponding-author information; and
  • ORCID identifiers where available.

The information entered into the submission system should correspond with the information in the manuscript and supporting documents.

Submission Files

Depending on the article type and study design, authors may be required to upload:

  • manuscript file;
  • tables or figures when submitted separately;
  • supplementary materials;
  • reporting guideline checklist;
  • ethical approval documentation when requested; and
  • other documents required by the editorial office.

After Submission

The corresponding author will receive submission information through the journal system.

The manuscript will undergo administrative and editorial screening before being considered for external peer review.

Authors should monitor their submission account and registered email address for editorial correspondence and revision requests.

Revision Submission

When revisions are requested, authors should submit:

  1. a revised manuscript; and
  2. a point-by-point response to reviewer and editor comments.

Changes should be clearly identifiable when requested by the editor.

Authors who disagree with a reviewer recommendation should provide a concise and scientifically reasoned explanation.

Technical Assistance

Authors experiencing technical difficulties with the online submission system should contact the HSNRJ editorial office using the official contact information displayed on the journal website.
